How to Add a Text Shadow in #Photoshop CS6
Step1: Today I am going to show you the easy text-shadow effects in Photoshop.
Step2: Create a new file with white background and the size that you want.
Step3: Now select the text tool and add the text that you want.
Step4: Now right-click on the text layer and go to the blending options.
Step5: Choose the Gradient Overlay option.
Step6: Choose the gradient from the preset gradients or set the color that you want.
Step7: Now click on the OK button and here you apply the gradient color on your text layer.
Step8: Now duplicate the text layer to right-click on the text layer and choose the duplicate layer.
Step9: Go to the edit option and choose the transform and then select the Flip Vertical option.
Step10: You can see the text layer is flipped and now you can drag this text layer to position in the right place as shown.
Step11: Now go to the gradient overlay option like before and check on Reverse and click on the OK button.
Step12: Add the vector mask from the bottom to the duplicated text layer.
Step13: Then choose the linear gradient to for ground to transparent.
Step14: Now draw a gradient from the bottom to the top and change the opacity to 60 to 80% of this text layer.
Step15: Let’s draw some more gradients from the bottom to the top or center and repeat this step until you get a nice text-shadow layer.
